My ESTA has been refused: what should I do?

If the ESTA has been refused (or you are not eligible), you will need to apply for a VISA from the American embassy. It's very restrictive, but this step is compulsory if you don't want to get into trouble with American immigration.

The visa suitable for tourism or transit is the B2 visa. For this visa, you will need to demonstrate your intention to return to your country of origin. A plane ticket showing simple transit will probably not be enough. At your interview at the embassy, we advise you to bring various items of evidence, such as pay slips, rent receipts, title deeds, etc., to show that you intend to return to your country of origin.

The other solution would be to avoid going through the United States if you are in transit, but some areas are difficult to access without going through the United States, such as Hawaii.

If you want to go to the USA on business, you will need to apply for a B1 visa.

✅ As a reminder, if you apply for an ESTA through us and the authorities decide to refuse to issue the document, we will refund your payment in full.
